ABOUT THE CONFERENCEThe conference title and theme is intended to provide maximum scope to show the range of fields of psychological interest and effort to which personal construct psychology contributes a unique understanding. Indeed, the term ‘unwellness’ already signals a particular way of understanding what others might refer to as ‘mental illness’ and an approach to therapy that is built on personal construct psychology as the ‘only psychology for psychotherapy’. And ‘wellness’ directs attention to the personal construct psychology work in education, management, personnel relations, pastoral care in ministry, creative arts, sport, and, indeed, simply living one’s life. Keynote speakers will provide plenary sessions around which will be built individual papers and papers grouped into symposia, workshops as offered, and ample opportunity to pursue informal discussions with people with any type of interest in personal construct psychology. More information on Personal Construct Psychology can be found on the PCP Resources web site.
