PCP Mailing lists

The PCP Mailing List
This list was established in 1993 by David Nightingale, then maintained by Chris Evans and Malcolm Cross, and now by Brian Gaines and Devi Jankowicz. It has about 300 members. Information about joining up on this site.

Mildred Shaw and Brian Gaines, formerly in Calgary / Canada, maintain an Archive of the messages sent to the Network between 1994 and 1999. From July 1998 on, messages are kept in the List  Archive.

After joining the Network, you can have a list of members' email addresses sent by sending the message review pcp  (and nothing else, no signature!) to the address: jiscmail@jiscmail.ac.uk

The PCPTOOLS List
This list which was established on 2004 by Brian Gaines and Neil Hair; it...

"... complements the general PCP list with a specialist list for the mutual support of those using and developing computer-based tools in empirical PCP research, including repertory grid elicitation and analysis, content analysis, concept mapping, and other constructivist tools. It is intended to allow experience and good practices in tools usage to be shared by the research community, and to help newcomers, particularly graduate students, in making effective use of available tools. It is also hoped that it will provide a forum for developing requirements for a new generation of tools, and encourage their development."

Information about the list (which is also located at jiscmail@jiscmail.ac.uk) and how to join is available here.

The EnquireWithin User Group
This list is run by John Mayes and Valerie Stewart and discusses issues of repertory grid analysis based on their 'EnquireWithin' repgrid analysis package. It has currently 209 members. Information on this site.

"Classical PCP"
Another mailing list was established in 2002 by Bill Chambers and Emmanuel Parton. It is called 'Classical PCP' and information can be obtained from this site.
