We definitely recommend the purchase of a
7-day
Public Transport ticket at DM 40 which is valid on all S-Bahn, U-Bahn,
buses and trams.

Once you arrived at S-Bahn station Berlin-Wannsee, further
procedure
depends on your accommodation. You may use bus 114 (destination
Heckeshorn) or taxi to get to the Conference Centre (5 min) or
to
your hotels (2 min).
Your accommodation is at one of the following four places (if you
haven't
taken care of accommodation yourself):

At the BBZ, the Conference Centre itself.

At the Wannsee-Appartements (Haus Liesche) in the immediate
neighbourhead
of the BBZ.
In these cases you should check in at the Conference Centre.
- At Hotel Wannsee-Blick, Königstrasse 3b/4, just
beyond the
bridge. On the map below, Hotel Wannseeblick seems to be the little red

At Hotel Petit, Königstrasse 10, a few yards beyond Hotel
Wannseeblick.
The hotels are not far from S-Bahn Wannsee (about 800 ms).
Because they are situated on the way to the Conference Centre, you may
check in at the hotels first and then proceed to the Conference Centre.
From the Hotels it is about 1 km to the BBZ. Bus 114
(coming
from Wannsee S-Bahn station) will turn right from "Königstrasse"
into
"Am Grossen Wannsee" and stop at corner "Koblanckstrasse".
Opening times

Pre-Conference Workshops (see Congress Programme)
will begin on Monday, July 26, at 9.00 (Jones, Neimeyer) or 10.00
(Bell).

The Congress will start with lunch on Monday, July 26, at 12.30.

The Opening Session will begin on Monday, July 26, at 14.00.
Early arrival (Saturday or Sunday)

If you will be staying at Hotel Wannseeblick, see above.

If you will be staying at the Conference Site: The Conference
Centre
is not officially open at the weekend, so there will be no meals
served.
However, several persons will be there, including myself (Jörn
Scheer).
Please make sure that you will be there in late afternoon on Saturday
or
Sunday.
