Travelling: 'We don´t call it travelling; we call it living'
Beverly Walker
Abstract
The experience of travelling amplifies processes that occur invisibly
and routinely in our normal, everyday existence. These processes include
the re-shaping of our identity, the for-mation of new constructs and the
re-formation of existing constructs. The exploration of the experience
of travelling assists in both clarification and elaboration of Personal
Construct theory, including the notion of bipolarity of construing.
