Abstract
This paper explores the relative contributions of a sense of coherence
(i.e. personal meaning) and self-concept differentiation in predicting
psychological well-being. Results revealed the relative dominance of coherence
over self-concept differentiation in predicting aspects of emotional ad-justment,
and these results are discussed in relation to contemporary constructivist
and social psy-chological literatures.
