Abstract
Our aim in this paper is to present a Computer Assisted Narrative Analysis Method for the Qualitative Analysis of Self-Narratives using the computer program QSR-NUD.IST v.4. After briefly discussing the method, a case example will be presented.

We will work with a narrative dealing with the loss of a homosexual partner. The text will be analyzed and discussed in terms of his author's own discourse. Qualitative hypotheses dealing with loss and grieving will be tested and discussed accordingly to a Grounded Theory Meth-odology approach. We will highlight the connections and/or gaps between our method and PCP. Some limitations of traditional theories about grief will also be considered.
